Eleven artists and eleven bands

In celebration of the 5th edition of the festival, VIVID. a post_rock festival is having a collaboration with arteriet art gallery at Lumber.

This collaboration is a result of the gallery`s curiosity in exploring how art is interrelated with other platforms like VIVID. a post_rock festival, and had the opportunity to connect Kristiansand city center with arteriet.

Eleven local artists have been invited to make art inspired by the selected bands performing at VIVID. a post_rock festival this year and will be exhibited at Aladdin during the festival.

We are grateful for the collaboration of the following list of artists:

This is the first time the gallery has extended out of the harbor at Lumber. This evening will start with a boat ride for the guests from the city center to Lumber. During the boat ride Edy Poppy (writer, performance artist and playwright) and Julian Blaue (German performance artist and Ph. D. art in context) was invited to perform. At the arrival there will be a concert at the harbor. (TBA)

Opening of the art exhibition is at arteriet Friday September 27th at 8.15 p.m.

TIME SCHEDULE:
7.30 p.m. - boat ride Pir 6 – Lumber (show op at 19.15!)
7.35 p.m. - performance by Edy Poppy and Julian Blaue
during boat ride
7.50 p.m. - concert: TBA
8.15 p.m. - exhibition opening
